The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is within the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school design isn't the only effective means of learning. CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start out at NCV level 2 and also the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level click here 4 is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of scholars are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that regular education will not be always the only real technique for getting an artisan or turning out to be capable so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is in fact properly suited for that student.
